EDUCATION

I have studied piano since the early childhood, first in the Riga Musical school for talented children, then in the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and now completing a Master’s degree at the Lucerne High School of Music (class of Prof. Konstantin Lifschitz) and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (class of Prof. Markus Schirmer).

EXPERIENCE

I play on professional stage in concerts and festivals. I also take part in musical competitions and master classes with world’s prominent musicians. I was a prizewinner in several international competitions, and won special prizes for the interpretation of Bach, virtuoso romantic pieces, and the prize for “eminent style.”

INTERESTS

My aesthetic preferences revolve around the Golden Age of piano (the end of the 19th - the first third of the 20th century) which I consider the pinnacle of the entire history of piano playing. This determines my interests in related fields and arts, history of music, old Mater’s style reconstruction, poetry, etc. In 2019, I made my debut on the organ with famous J.S. Bach’s Keyboard Concerto in d moll (BWV 1052).

H2H MUISIC

This is my initiative to team up with young music professionals who have their own vision about classical arts and culture in our rapidly changing technological world. We regard classical music in a broad rather than academic context. Throughout its long and glorious history, classical music was free of academic conformance regarding concert rituals, styles of playing, spaces for the concert, public’s code of conduct, etc, in the way it is customary today. We are seeking free emotional expression and informal relationship between the music and listeners. H2H is just the modern abbreviation of what Beethoven considered the raison d'être of music “From the heart to the heart”.
